Thurman L. (Lee) Sisney, General Counsel and Director of Strategic Planning, brings to TKT & Associates, Inc, a unique combination of experience in law, business and government. Lee received a BA in Psychology from East Central Sate University in Ada, Oklahoma, a MBA and followed up with a Juris Doctorate from the University of Louisville. He was admitted to the Kentucky Bar in 1980.

Lee maintained a private practice in the areas of litigation, administrative and corporate law. From 1984-1987, Lee served in Kentucky Sate government as Executive Director and Chief Counsel for the newly created Office of Legal and Legislative Services for the Finance and Administration Cabinet. In addition to serving as Legislative Liaison in the Governor’s Office before returning to private practice, Lee was tapped as General Counsel for the Kentucky Department of Agriculture and was quickly promoted to Deputy Commissioner of Agriculture.

At the end of his service, Lee returned to private practice and in 1993 established a company that acquired control of Lincoln International Corporation, a publicly held company, which then owned the Bourbon Stock Yards, a number of franchises and Lincoln Finance Company. Lee later created and financed Accounting USA to provide outsourced accounting, bookkeeping and payroll services to the business community. These corporations were sold in 2004 and 2005.

Lee is a native of Oklahoma but has made Kentucky his home since 1971 with his wife Sherleen and his daughter Shara.
