Norton Cancer Institute radiation center is a 65,000 square foot construction project scheduled to begin in the first quarter 2010. As an integral part of Norton Healthcare's commitment to the community it serves, a Business Opportunity Exchange is scheduled to provide information about the contracting opportunities available for certified minority- and women-owned businesses.

Norton Healthcare has established overall project goals of 25%; 20% for minority-owned business and 5% for women-owned business participation.

Norton Healthcare and the construction management team of Abel Construction, Finch Constructors, Inc. and TKT & Associates, Inc. will work collaboratively to ensure that minority- and women-owned businesses have strong representation in the construction of the Norton Cancer Institute radiation center.
